    Update

For those of you whom we have not been in close contact just a little update.

Since the hurricane Abigail and I have been living with my parents in Winter Haven about 3 hours from Davie. Tony has been working Monday-Friday living with his parents and seeing us on the weekends.

This has been especialy hard with Abigail changing so much. She is walking hold on to things and standing for a few seconds. She is going to take off at any moment. The cutest this she is doing lately is dancing, when she hears any music she stops what she is doing and dances. She does have a little cuban in her.

This week my FAU class and Abigail's sign language class begin again, So we will be traveling to South Florida to stay with the Gavilon's until Saturday when we will begin to housesit for the Gupta's who will be in India for 3 weeks. They live very close to where Tony is auditing in Margate. So it will be a great opportunity to be together again.

Tony did talk to the insurance ajuster last Sunday. He is swamped and will not be able to get out to look at our home for atleast a few weeks. Meanwhile, we had contracted a company to fix our roof from Katrina's damage andthey will be able to fix it this week. As soon as we can take out our carpet and replace it we will be able to move back in. We still have other damage to our carport and porch that we will have to wait for insurance money and a company to come out and fix. We are learning to just stand in line.

We are still in prayer about moving out of our mobile home. We are excited to see the Lord teach us through this process and ask for your prayers also. Thanks to all of you who have called us, we appreciate all your support and love.

    Calling all Homemakers!

I have recently, since I have a little time on my hands, been examining how I practically spend our grocery budget money each month. Through conversations with other homemakers and a little resereach I have found some very helpful information, that otherwise I would not have known. It is important for me as a young mom and wife to constantly be revamping my system of meal planing and grocey/ household shopping, making sure that the budget my husband and ultimatly the Lord has given us is being used wisely.

A close friend Ashley Bennett gave me these two website the other day. They are more that worth checking out. If you are a homeschooling mom you will find tons of other resources as well.
    start with
    http://preschoolersandpeace.com/
on the left hand column click in the kitchen. She has tons of great ideas for meal planning.
    for some practical list try
    http://titus2.com/
on the left hand column click master list, then grocery list. She has her list for the grocery store and for sam's.

This is just some practical information I have found very helpfull.

Please let me know what you do to make great affordible meals for you family.
